For this episode we explore “Audiovisual archives for inspiration and creativity” and dive into the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives’ (IASA) 50th conference held this past autumn in tandem with the Joint Technical Symposium (JTS).

In episode 3 Bill Thompson speaks with Richard Ranft (British Library, UK), Erwin Verbruggen (Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision, NL) and Judith Opoku-Boateng (Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana).

In addition to thinking through the “Imagine the Future'' theme of the 2019 IASA, Erwin, Judith, Richard and Louise reflect on the importance of bringing creators and producers together with archivists to inspire and create with archives.
