First assembly meeting of the FES-COMMIT SEALINCMedia project

On Friday 14 October the 1st Project Assembly meeting of the project SEALINCMedia: "Socially-Enriched Access to Linked Cultural Media" will be held at the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision in Hilversum. The SEALINCMedia project is a part of the FES COMMIT program. The objectives of the project are to

develop solutions to enrich collections using Internet enabled reliable, scalable and cost effective collaborative content curation and to improve accessibility through advanced personalized content recommendation and search functionalities.

The goal of the meeting is to bring the representatives of all participating institutions together to meet each other, learn about each other's interests, expertise, experience and expectations related to SEALINCMedia, and to exchange ideas and formulate joint objectives that will be realized in the course of the project. The meeting is, however, also open to scientists and professionals from outside SEALINCMedia who are interested in recent advances in the fields of multimedia content recommendation and search, in the domain of cultural heritage, but also beyond.

The meeting will take place from 9:30am until 2pm, including lunch. The program will be posted here soon. If you would like to attend please let us know here.
