The VIDI-Video project focused on integrating and developing state-of-the-art technologies in the field of concept detection.
The project VIDI-Video focused on the integration and development of state-of-the-art technologies in the field of concept detection, both audio and video, and the implementation of the results in an audiovisual search engine. The search engine uses different ways of searching, such as using a thesaurus, natural language and searching for free text. In addition, an annotation system has been developed to annotate concepts within videos.
The project is funded within the Sixth Framework Program of the European Commission.
