VPRO, Sound & Vision, the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) and the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR) presented T_Visionarium OPEN CITY in 2010. T_Visionarium OPEN CITY was an installation where visitors could interact with an audiovisual archive in a 3-dimensional space and make their own temporary montage or remix. The installation showed audiovisual material around the theme 'city' from the collections of Sound & Vision that were digitized within the Images for the Future project. T_Visionarium OPEN CITY used pioneering visualization technology from the Australian research center iCinema, which was shown for the first time in the Netherlands.

T_Visionarium OPEN CITY was made possible by financial support from the Mondriaan Foundation, the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) and the Dutch Cultural Media Productions Fund (Mediafonds) and with the cooperation of Holland Doc 24 and the One Minutes Foundation.
