Within CATCHPlus a service is developed with which digital objects are provided with Persistent Identifiers (PID).

The number of references in external sources to digital objects from the collection of Sound & Vision increases (e.g. photos, audio, video, metadata and thesaurus terms). With PIDs these objects can be identified more easily and linked to other sources. Together with other heritage institutions, Beeld & Geluid will participate in the pilot of this service.
