Through a series of linked projects and workshops, PhD students will explore the brain base for creativity, the emergence of creativity through social interaction and how creativity lays the foundation for problem-solving ability.

Sound & Vision is involved in research on early cinema and cognitive creativity. It investigates our experience of historical media in relation to the cognitive impact of analogue and digital film projection technology.

CogNovo is funded by the European Commission through the Marie Curie program under FP7 and by Plymouth University.
