COMMIT/ brings scientific research and (non-)profit organisations together in ICT-projects within the nine most important economic sectors in the Netherlands.
COMMIT/ brings scientific research and (non-)profit organisations together in ICT-projects within the nine most important economic sectors in the Netherlands.
For example, work is being done on research and development of groundbreaking products and services. For that, the COMMIT/ program brings together leading researchers in the field of search engines, parallel computing, databases, interaction in context, embedded systems and knowledge technology.
Eighty parties work within COMMIT/. There are universities, technological institutes and sixty big and small companies that work together on projects that play an important role internationally. With that, COMMIT/ contributes to the reinforcement of top sectors and the (economical) advantage of the Netherlands as a 'knowledge country'.
Sound & Vision will participate in two COMMIT/ projects: INFINITI and SEALINCMedia.
COMMIT/ is co-financed by the Fonds Economische Structuurversterking (FES).
