Julia Vytopil and her department ensure the availability of the collection, answer complex research questions, giving context and (online) publication of the collection of Sound and Vision. Access facilitates B2B accessibility of the collection for target groups like professionals (reuse of archive material), education, research and museum.
After studying at the Film Academy (class of 2003), Julia worked as an independent art director/property master for film and television for several years. At the production company Bosch Film, she helped establish several TV productions as a researcher and producer. In 2009, Julia started working at Sound and Vision, initially as a project assistant. As program manager Media Management and policy advisor Innovation she worked on innovation and change in processes and technology at Sound and Vision from 2011-2014. Her background as a film maker is an asset in working with broadcasters and other creators and users of AV material.
